La Tienda Honors Dia de los Muertos in October

It's time for La Tienda's Annual Dia de los Muertos, Days of the Dead, altar and exhibit.  A great way to celebrate October with a sugar skull by local artist Happy Time Acopalypse,  papel picado (banners) to decorate your home, or a figurine for your altar.

Photographic KaleidEscapes by Dawn LaGave at La Tienda For September Artwalk

"KaleidEscapes" by local artist Dawn LaGave are photos of famous buildings and landmarks or local fauna that are digitally manipulated to create stunning kaleidoscopic images shown in dimensional art framed shadow boxes and trivets. 


Come to La Tienda and try to identify these famous landmarks between 6-9pm on Saturday.

Ceramics Showcase By Matthew Patton at La Tienda in June

La Tienda is excited to showcase a new selection of ceramic bowls, trivets, and platters from local artist Matthew Patton.  


A former instructor at Potter Northwest, Matt has received many awards for his striking creations.  His work has a vitality that is enhanced by a strong form and bold glazing.  A great gift for a graduate or a wedding.

Shari Both Trunk Show At La Tienda For May Artwalk

La Tienda is excited to hold a trunk show of local jewelry artist Shari Both of Kenmore.  




Shari is showing a collection of hand-wrapped sterling silver with natural stones necklaces and earrings, guaranteed to delight any mom or mom to be.

In December La Tienda is Featuring Local Crafts Artisans, Ceramics and Jewelry


La Tienda is excited to showcase our local crafts artists. 
 
Ceramists - Loren Lukens, Matthew Patton, James Brooke, and Stillfire Pottery. 
Jewelry artists - Kristin Ford, Sarah Leonard, Shari Both, Carmen de Anguise, Michael Berg,
and Folk Art International.

Iznik Ceramics Showcased at La Tienda during June ArtWalk

Summer's coming and it's time to brighten up your table. 


La Tienda has a new collection of colorful bowls and plates from Turkey. These brightly painted pieces are handcrafted using traditional techniques that date back to the 15th Century. Though traditional in design, all the bowls and plates are food and dishwasher safe.
