Every February Blowing Sands Glass Studio pulls together the previous year's experiments, samples, and various extras for our annual seconds sale. It fills the gallery with colorful, eclectic shapes reflecting the bright imaginings of the glass artists at work.
Every pedestal and shelf has something interesting and unique to offer. A "treasure hunt" show!

Unique Art Pieces to Set Your Autumn Table are Featured at Blowing Sands for the November ArtWalk
Gathering at the Table
In fall we share family feasts and warm cups of tea, catch up with old friends, and share around the table. This month we celebrate the craft of making the table unique and interesting. Pottery with interesting form and glass with vibrant color; each artisan in this group show has found a way to make the everyday object expressive.

Design, Mathematics, Fabrication: Bonnevie Sculpture at Blowing Sands in June
Karlito Bonnevie's artwork often takes the form of beautiful furnishings with a subtle mathematical influence.
"I love to design stuff - it allows my creative juices to flow.
I love to use and apply mathematics - it keeps me in touch with the universe.
I love to build stuff in metal - it's extremely focusing and surprisingly forgiving.
Ultimately, one must answer the question - why do we make art? Ah, who cares? Just make it!"

Extra for artwalk! Special one-night-only trunk show of metal and glass pieces by accomplished artist Lon Clark.
