July ArtWalk Participants

Ballard Has A New Gallery!
2215 NW Market Street
We are excited to welcome a new retail establishment to downtown Ballard—The Nightingale Gallery. This unique addition features band posters, exclusive Ballard and Seattle graphics, gift and souvenir art, apparel and more. With a passion for their home community of Ballard, a love of art, and desire to create an accessible, affordable and engaging gathering place for art lovers, Aaron and Beth Morris are excited to open their new business on Market Street.

For July’s ArtWalk, The Nightingale Gallery features signed, limited edition prints by Ballard artist Steve Konz. Ballard, Green Lake and Queen Anne scenes are depicted in these digitally illustrated featured works. All prints, 24"x36", are giclees on museum-quality paper, archivally framed, numbered and autographed by the artist.

Konz has 25 years experience as a freelance illustrator and has taught illustration and figure drawing courses at Seattle Central Community College for nine years. He currently works as a full-time graphic artist for Lantern Press in Seattle, and lives in Ballard with his wife and daughter.
