Musical Guest: Johnathan Rooke Jazz

For this month's May ArtWalk, we will be featuring a very special addition, live music! It has always been our goal to bring in live performances for Ballard ArtWalk to make this event a truly festive and fun experience for fellow ArtWalkers.

Our first musical guest will be Johnathan Rooke. Jonathan Rooke performs the early 20th century jazz standards with a flair all his own. His new take on the old tunes has entertained crowds of all ages in coffeehouses, lounges, and street festivals in Seattle, New York, Boulder, and Minneapolis. If you are a regular at the Ballard Farmers Market, you may have been lucky enough to catch him and his band playing for everyone on a nice sunny day. 

For this ArtWalk, you can catch his performance this Saturday (5/12) at the Marvin's Garden bell tower 6-9pm. Art, live music and sunny warm weather is in the works for Ballard so come join us for what will be a truly beautiful evening!
