Li'l Woody's hosts School Art Show and Contest

Li’l Woody’s loves the kids! In support of the May 9 ArtWalk, Li’l Woody’s has invited three Ballard-area elementary schools—Adams Elementary, Loyal Heights Elementary and West Woodland Elementary—to display their student’s art at the May ArtWalk. These pieces of art will stay on display throughout the month of May, inviting the public to vote on their favorite school.

“It’s cool to be able to acknowledge these kids and their hard work,” says Marcus Lalario, owner of Li’l Woody’s. “The families from these schools have been so good to us since we opened in Ballard, and we are glad to support them in turn.”

Voting takes place from May 9-23 at Li’l Woody’s in Ballard. The winning school will able create a special “Burger of the Week” for the week of June 9, with proceeds from the burger going to the winning school’s art program.

Each of the three schools will display up to 12 pieces of art throughout the month of May, kicking off with the Second Saturday Ballard Artwalk on May 9. Li’l Woody’s invites the community to come by, vote for their favorite school, and see the great art on display. You can vote multiple times, but only once per day, and only on site.
