"Picturing the World Through a Glass Eye" Shows at BallardWorks for May

A Contemporary Photography show featuring Jannie Anderson, Annelle Hollingsworth, and Abby Inpanbutr.

This remarkable and enjoyable display is the work of 3 local photographers. Portraits by Jannie Anderson capture the spark, humor and humanity of her varied subjects. Landscapes by Annelle Hollingsworth are rich in color and metaphor. Abby Inpanbutr captures unexpected views of Ballard cityscapes in black and white or tri-color.

Curator Stephen Gilbert has created this May exhibit of photography. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to compare and contrast the
results of the personal aesthetics of these artists. Rather than paints and brushes, they use the lens, chemistry, electronics and printers to
create engaging visual images.
